Entertaiment
Something affording pleasure, diversion, or amusement: The daily crossword puzzle is an entertainment for many. A type of entertainment may be a performance such as a play or ballet, or an activity such as a sport or a game. Entertainment often reflects culture and society, and can evolve from ancient practices like stage magic to newer media such as films or video games. Events involving music, dance, or other forms of performance are common sources of entertainment, as are ceremonies and festivals. See also entertain, entice, joust, and pierce.
